The International Research Roundtable is organised by IEAA and has been held annually since 2009 in conjunction with the Australian International Education Conference (AIEC). The Roundtable aims to bring together leaders and researchers in the area of international education to discuss recent research findings, new directions for future research and the implications for institutions, governments, students and other stakeholders.

As a model of using research to inform policy and practice, the IEAA Research Roundtable has become an essential event in the international education calendar. This year's roundtable provides an opportunity for emerging researchers to engage with professionals and academics in the sector through structured networking.

This year’s roundtable will feature:

  • Leading international and Australian experts
  • A review of the state of current research in the area
  • An expert panel addressing the key themes.

Program

Key themes include:

  • Community impact
  • Public diplomacy
  • Employment outcomes
